Community Health Centers, Inc. (CHC) Announces Staff Additions and Promotion
Salt Lake City, UT, May 3, 2013 – Community Health Centers, Inc. (CHC), the leading non-profit community health center organization on the Wasatch Front announces the addition of four new Medical Professionals and the promotion of the organization’s Dental Manager to Clinic Director at the Oquirrh View Clinic.
Tate Jensen, PA-C also joins the Oquirrh View Clinic where he will provide Family Practice clinical care. Jensen brings years of experience in family medicine and urgent/emergency care to the position. He earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. Both Jerman and Jensen speak fluent Spanish, a skill that is important in treating CHC’s Spanish-speaking patients.
John Lelis, MPAS, PA-C, joins CHC’s 72nd Street Clinic in Midvale and will provide Family Practice clinical care. John holds a master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah and brings recent experience at the Yakima Valley Farm Worker clinic in Grandview, Washington to his new role with CHC.
Maria Valdizan-Garcia, FNP is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas. Valdizan-Garcia will provide Family Practice clinical care at CHC’s Central City Clinic in Salt Lake City.
Marcia Bueno, Dental Manager for CHC’s Dental Clinics has been promoted to Clinic Director of the organization’s Oquirrh View Clinic. Bueno has a strong background in clinical program management and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
