December 10, 2013–CHC is very happy to welcome Pediatrician Maggie Salem Hull, MD, FAAP to our clinical care team. She will practice primary care pediatric medicine at CHC’s Oquirrh View Clinic in Taylorsville. Dr. Hull holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She served her pediatric residency at the Pediatrics Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Hull is licensed in the state of Utah and has ten years of experience practicing as a general pediatrician. She believes strongly in the importance of educating not only her patients, but the whole family on healthy behaviors and choices.
Born in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Hull has lived in the United States since she was nine. She enjoys the outdoors, cycling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three children. She and her family try to visit Egypt every other year to maintain the cultural connection that is so important to them. Dr. Hull is active in community outreach including as a physician contributor to KTMP radio, as a science fair instructor in the local public school system, and as a prenatal class teaching volunteer. She also serves on the Intermountain Healthcare Peer Review Committee. Dr. Hull will apply an authentic dose of empathy to her pediatric patients that comes from her own experience as a CHC patient at our SDR clinic during her adolescent years in Salt Lake City.
