Please join CHC in welcoming Dalyn Steed to our clinical care team. Dalyn will practice primary care medicine at our Oquirrh View Clinic. Dalyn has recently graduated from the University of Utah with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and just completed her Physician Assistant Licenses NCCPA exam last month. She holds a Bachelors of Science, Physiology, and Psychology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, and earned a Medical Assistant Certificate from Mountainland Applied Technology College early in her medical career.
Dalyn will start her professional career at CHC, having served three of her training rotations at CHC clinics. She also served rotations at the South Main Public Health Center in Salt Lake City; at Utah Cardiology in Davis County; a surgical rotation at Salt Lake Regional Hospital; Emergency Medicine and Pulmonology at the U of U Medical Center; and an overseas stint in Ghana, Africa. She considers herself a generalist, but is very interested in women’s health.
In addition to Ghana, Dalyn worked as Country Director of Volunteers on several non-profit development projects, and as a Medical Assistant in El Salvador. Dalyn also spent time in Argentina as a Spanish/English Translator, and a Volunteer Representative. She is no stranger to the adventures of visiting foreign lands.
Dalyn has been married to her husband, Jordan Steed for just over a year. The two enjoy biking, swimming, dancing and traveling together. They look forward to participating in triathlons this coming summer. A native to snow-free Arizona, Dalyn is planning to learn to ski this winter.
Dalyn’s experiences abroad, in the medical field, and speaking Spanish will positively inform her work at CHC. We are happy to add her to our team of talented and dedicated professionals
