Community Health Centers, Inc. is governed by a consumer/community driven board.  The present board of governors consists of 10 voting members.  40% of the board are active users of CHC's health centers.  Gender and racial ratios reflect the our diverse patient population (30% female and 70% male).  We are currently recruiting two female consumer representatives as board members.

The board composition is governed by its' bylaws that are strongly based on BPHC guidance.  The board must be a minimum 51% consumers and since Community Health Centers, Inc. operates a migrant farm worker clinic in Brigham City, Utah one of the consumer representatives must be from that clinic.

All governors are expected to join a board committee and attend at least one meeting per year.  Committee structure is outlined in the board bylaws and include the following:
The chairperson of the Board Recruitment and Retention committee is responsible for monitoring the Board's compliance with the bylaws and initiating activities to ensure compliance.
